Resident Rob and Russ Go-Getter, Tiff Wells, recently sat down with Iolani senior, two-sport athlete and University of Hawaii bound Breland Almadova. During his days with Raiders, Almodova dominated on both the football field and baseball diamond. Now, he’s decided to hang up his football pads in favor of a baseball glove for the University of Hawaii Baseball Team.

He discusses the privilege of playing for Iolani’s legendary coaches, defending the ILH and State Division II crown on the gridiron, bringing home Iolani’s first ILH championship since 1997, and the prospects of becoming a Rainbow baseball player alongside fellow local phenom, Kolten Wong.
