Dave Reardon dropped by the show on Tuesday to discuss the upcoming changes to Hawaii High School Athletics in response to the State’s current economic struggles, the Star Bulletin’s upcoming look at the Top 100 UH Football Players in All-Time and, most importantly, his preference of intro music.

Reardon announced that the HHSAA was discussing State Tournament cutbacks. He also addressed the controversial idea of increasing the number of ILH teams allowed in the State Tournament. “If you don’t win your league and you’re not in the State Tournament, you don’t have a right to complain… Philosophically I look at it that way, but realistically and financially, I look at it another way.”

Dave also introduced the Star Bulletin’s upcoming Centurion Feature, which will count down the Top 100 UH Football players of all-time. Reardon said, in order to help make the decisions, they talked to every UH Football coach from the 1970s to the present except one, but “I’m not gonna say which one we didn’t talk to… If I don’t say which one it is, it gives plausible deniability to all of them.”

Reardon announced that he had the final cut authority and said to blame him for all mistakes.

Lastly, Reardon revealed his favorite player of all time. You’ll have to listen to this interview to find out who it is…
